The best option is to fly into Valencia Airport (VLC), located just 8 kilometers (5 miles) west of the city center.
_ TRAVELING TO VALENCIA FROM NEARBY AIRPORTS
From Alicante Airport, you can reach Valencia by train, bus, or car rental. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.
From Barcelona Airport, you can take a train or bus to Valencia, or rent a car. The travel time ranges from 3 to 4 hours.
From Madrid Airport you can travel by AVE, a high-speed train with a travel time of approx. 2 hours.
MOVING AROUND VALENCIA

Valencia offers a reliable and efficient public transportation system, which includes buses, trams, and an underground metro. A single ticket costs €1.50, while a 10-trip card, known as the “Bono-10,” costs €8.50.
For unlimited travel, consider purchasing the Valencia Tourist Card, which also grants you discounts at museums and other attractions.
The most common used Taxi apps are Freenow and Cabify. The regular fare for a taxi ride in Valencia is around 10€.
If you’d like to ride a bike or a scooter, you can use Valenbisi or Acciona, creating an account takes only a few minutes.
